- Day 1 – Introduction to Web DevelopmentThis module provides an overview of web development, covering essential technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, AJAX, and MySQL. You'll learn how websites are built, the role of front-end and back-end development, and how these technologies work together to create dynamic and interactive web applications.4
- Day 2 - Advanced CSS & BootstrapFocus Areas: Strengthening CSS knowledge. Introducing the Bootstrap framework to streamline responsive design.4
- Day 3 - JavaScript & jQuery – Adding Interactivity to WebpagesJavaScript is a powerful programming language that allows you to create dynamic and interactive web pages. jQuery, a JavaScript library, simplifies common tasks like animations, event handling, and AJAX requests.2
- Day 4 - PHP & Server-Side ScriptingIntroduction to PHP PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) is a widely-used server-side scripting language that enables dynamic web applications. Unlike HTML and JavaScript, PHP runs on the server and processes requests before sending the final webpage to the browser.2
- Day 5 - AJAX & MySQL IntegrationOn Day 5, you'll learn how to make your web applications more dynamic by integrating AJAX and MySQL. AJAX allows you to update web pages asynchronously, meaning users can interact with your site without needing to reload the entire page. You'll also explore MySQL, a popular database system, to store and manage data efficiently. By the end of the day, you'll know how to send and retrieve data from a MySQL database using PHP and AJAX, creating a smooth and interactive user experience. You'll put these skills into practice by building a live search feature, a common functionality in modern web applications.3
- Day 6 - Advanced PHP & User AuthenticationOn Day 6, you will dive deeper into advanced PHP concepts and learn how to implement secure user authentication. This lesson focuses on Object-Oriented PHP, creating reusable components, and handling user login and registration with proper security measures. By the end of the day, you'll be able to build a fully functional authentication system, hash passwords securely, and implement best practices to protect your web application from security threats.2
- Day 7 - Final Capstone ProjectThe Final Capstone Project is the culmination of everything you've learned in this 7-day Web Development Bootcamp. This project will challenge you to integrate HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, AJAX, and MySQL to build a fully functional dynamic web application. You will go through the complete development cycle, from planning and designing the frontend to developing backend logic and deploying your project online. By the end of this capstone, you will have a portfolio-ready web application that showcases your skills and serves as a solid foundation for real-world development.2
